J. Bryan Watford
Bryan represents buyers, sellers, developers, investors, landlords and tenants in all types of commercial real estate matters, including acquisition, development, financing, and leasing matters. Bryan’s experience from before he joined the firm is broad, including matters such as: representing a national, billion-dollar company in the acquisition and disposition of large timberland portfolios; representing national and regional banks in various loan products and workouts, including experience in secured and unsecured transactions and multi-state transactions; and representing a large general contracting company in multiple federal and state court disputes.
In law school, Bryan was the Lead Articles Editor of the Georgia State University Law Review, and he also represented indigent taxpayers in the Philip C. Cook Low Income Taxpayer Clinic in matters concerning identity theft, tax fraud, and innocent spouse defense.
Bryan is a member of the Vestry at Trinity Anglican Church, where he also serves as Chancellor.
